Time to give this topic a boost I think :P

Love the 158s myself, best intercity DMU trains going, much better than the voyagers  >:(, in my opinion

I agree although I also have a soft spot for the 150s, speaking of which...

This is not the best 150 footage due to passenger noise but for now it is all I have :(

Is there usually a 150 on the 08:59 from New Street? As I'm thinking of getting on it as far as University :)

It's the 08:49 from New St, and it's booked as a 170. The 14:49 should be 150 and I think the 10:49 and 17:19 are too

Sorry! Typo ;) Thank You for the Info Shaun :)

1M57 0734 Hereford-Birmingham New Street 0907 (With 153)

1M94 1640 Hereford-Birmingham New Street 1806
1V25 1819 Birmingham New Street-Worcester Shrub Hill 1910

These are 150 workings? and if so does the 07:34 Hereford to Birmingham call at University?

Yeah, sorry, should've made it more clear. Yeah, it does call at University - departing at 08:59 and arriving into New Street at 09:07 ;)

Tony

I haven't put any videos on the main site for a bit, just gone to put a 1987 film of 86439 on, but have got the width setting wrong, will try and correct this tomorrow, but even squashed up this brings a few memories of when Birmingham to Manchester trains actually made use of those nice overhead wires they hang above the rails for the entire route!

The reason for lack of bus photos appearing on the main site the last couple of days is
a) I have been in the office during hours of daylight, so no new ones
b) I have been working on some old videos instead of stills
I have given up trying to get the videos directly onto my main website as I cannot get the dimensions to work correctly so instead I am putting them all on youtube with links off the main site
a few on there now are
47450 at Saltley
86239 at Stafford
86232 at Stafford
87001 at Stafford
Norwich 2 car class 101 at Water Orton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9ngMfjTiBY&feature=youtu.be
47547 at Stafford

all in 1987, several more will be on there tonight as well

Tony

A couple of videos I have put on today
66953
390039

both passing through Bescot Stadium while I was getting still photos of the two stored class 08s

I got on a 150 (might have been 150107) yesterday. On the 13:49 New St to Hereford. I got a 156 from Liverpool to Manchester and back on Monday. Wish I would've recorded that now :(

Brilliant videos of the best four trains in New Street on Saturday!  I didn't spot you filming - I was in coach G of the 0812 to Paignton.  Incidentally, 1V44 was 5 minutes early into New Street and 4 minutes early into Cheltenham - proof that they are still a country mile better than the Voyagers.
