Broken wheel nut indicators

The majority of buses we have had are the P-KOX B10L test buses. The first day we had 9355, and also the 2 B10M coaches. one for motorway driving and the other on our 2nd day out.

We have been all over. Around Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Brom, over to Coventry one day to deliver a training file, Dudley, Stourbridge, North Birmingham and around the 11 from Harborne to Acocks Green today. We have even been to Bridgnorth and to the outskirts of Stafford on 2 days. We have either been in or drove past all NX garages, as well as driving past Lea Hall

Yes. All training buses are 9*** numbered. Even though the B10Bs still have thier original 13** fleet numbers on the side

Have you had any pedestrians walk out in front of you yet?

I haven't, but another trainee has, I nearly ended up on the floor

Yes, plus the front and some of the side windows were boarded up to stop local hoodies from bricking them. They have had a good go though

Another morning of broken buses! We parked up 9505 up last night, and turned off the isolation switch. Tried to start it up today, wouldn't (It had a faulty start switch, I think it was repaired later in the day). After we couldn't start 9505, we then swapped for 9514, and that was dead as well. Started it after a boost from the booster pack.

They both have the modern ticket machines fitted, and they stay on even when the isolation switch is off, so they may be draining the battery. I don't know if they are used for ticket machine training as well, I don't know why they have had them fitted if they have been out of public service since 2008.

We drove out of Birmingham along the 16 route, and it was amazing how even with Not In Service on the blinds, we has 3 people at separate stops flag the bus down wanting to get on  ;D Plus a woman on the Soho Road asking whether we was an 11  ;D
