CAZ to blame!  The branded MMCs have been appearing on the 4/A for the past few weeks.

B7TLs belong on the 11 anyway! The 11 without Geminis is absolutely dull!

The main reason the 11A/C has been altered this way is because of traffic congestion caused by the roadworks in Perry Barr.
Regularly heavy congestion there in the peak times from my experience, so it needs to be improved I think.
@Stu looking at the tracking some buses were taking an hour to get from Ward End, St Margarets Road, all the B7TL buses were stuck just past the lights up to the Bromford Bridge. Good I was getting off there anyway so didn't need to go any further. Tracking for other days last week looks bad as well.

Discount Travel regularly used to skip it out in the past, back when they used to skip part of the route out and ran the 11A and would turn right at the lights.

The ex Hagley Road 09 E400 aren't dull. So would be nice to see some of them at AG on 11.

So does the 4/4A, Gemini's (other B7TL's too) have been going along there since they was new its a shame they are no longer allowed...

No thank you, they are welcome to stay at Perry Barr... If anything AG have been treated to some of PB's finest Gemini's so I'm sure they've got enough now...

If the 11 is going to be upgraded then (even though it's dodgy) I'd give it the 15 plate Platinums, already battered they fit in on the 11, and not like the passengers would realise the difference... The state of some of the current 61** on there is truly shocking.

Good idea for it to be platinum I think, being a major route announcements would be good. They should fit those ones with USB socketts so they are the same as the others I think.

Very grubby interiors and just a mess inside... I've had a lot of them lately and they are a real mess, can tell they've been circling the 11... Also these were the first buses in the Crimson livery so I'd thought there will be something done about them? Same story with the 47** E400's at PE and WB...

Don't think retrofitting USB sockets would be exactly cheap on a set of 6 year old buses...

It's hard to disagree with that. My entire life it's been primarily operated by Metrobuses or Geminis
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Needs to be some sort of bus priority measures/bus lanes through the East of the city so services can run reliably I think.  With cameras so if cars go in to bus lanes get a fine of say £100  that should stop them going into the bus lanes

Problem with cameras is that it doesn't initially stop people going down a bus lane.  They only find out a few days later when the fine comes through the door.  Bus gates and busways are the way forward.  Perhaps a segregated bus lane, similarly designed like the CSs in London could work?

Wonder if any MMC deckers  will be branded for the 4 4a. As a number of MMC deckers are used

Why? The e400s are branded for the 11 whilst the e200s are branded for the 4... Doubt they would branded two different types for the same route...

Maybe in a few years the 4 will get new double deckers ???

Doubt it. The 4/4A are still mostly E200MMC

kind of like a 50 40 and sometimes a 10%.50% is usually the E200MMC. The other half is E400MMC 11 brandeds and the rest is omnilinks

You don't make any sense and that doesn't accurate from my observations... more like 75% E200MMC's, 20% E400MMC's and 5% Omnilinks...
