Seems like a lot for just the X12 and X70. Unless the X12 needs more since the route change.
I think the PVR for the X12 is 10 to 12 and the X70 is around 6 so that's around 16 to 18 buses, so 19 buses is about right.

I dont think so.It was supposed to be 6701-6711.

How can 6701-11 be enough for the X12 and X70 when they are the correct number now juat for the X12

I mean any spares can be used to ensure that existing platinum routes have enough buses. I've seen quite a few e400s on the Harbones
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

Add into this the fact that BC has a number of spare Platinum Enviros anyway which are largely compatible with the ones expected to be transferred in and it should level out.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

BC does does not have any more spare platinums than the normal dose allowance to cover vehicles off the road

Well how is the X12 being operated then.6701-6711
Local Bus Routes: 4, 4A, A15, A16, 41,1,11A,11C, A9, A12

ellspurs

It is being operated with whatever buses are currently available for it to be used. A lot of the X70 journeys are operated by non-platinum buses.

X12/X70 obviously requires more buses than X12 alone.

Often E400's. Presumably that will be where some of the E400 for the 55 come from. Wander where the others will come from?

I reckon 4606-4609 will go back and 4914-4918 will transfer for the 55 so both WB and Walsall will have more Omnilinks.

Maybe the Omnilinks that were used for the 55 will go there.
