I'm told by some of my former colleagues at AG that there's a notice in the drivers room stating that from March, the 58 is withdrawn.

The 31 is part of the Solihull tenders commencing 24th February, so it's already gone.
I saw that coming from the day it was changed...

The 31 is going. It's apparantly been lost on tender to Silverline.
Be nice if they extend it to Solihull town centre, probably mean the route isn't so pointless, but can't see that happening.

It's because of the running time. It's 26-27 mins each way. 54 mins leaving just 6 mins to spare to a) accomdate driver changes and b) incorporate the Town Centre.

You can do it, but it'll leave no breathing space for the slightest delays.

First batch Platinum AG 6711 out on X12 this morning.

@National2 X12 is a Platinum route, so a Platinum bus is not noteworthy.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Stu, Point was, first noting for me anyway, of 6711 ex PN. National2.

So? Doesn't make it rare.

National2

Probably not to you. Take it, it has worked it many times before then !

Unless it had been at RWT Lye for some repairs and was on a test run?
