What time did you see it @Stu?
It was in Acocks Green at around 15:55 going towards the City Centre on the 31

It was about 6:50pm when it eventually arrived at my Auckland Road stop (and got to Acocks Green just after 7pm lol)
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Just something I've been wondering.

I've got the following PVRs down for these routes.

37 - 20
71 - 12
72 - 17
S1 - 1

The 72 PVR seems like it's too high, but I've calculated it multiple times, unless I'm missing something. That brings the PVR to all these routes to 50. Was there ever any plan to keep them all 100% MMC, as that leaves no spares whatsoever.

Quite surprising as I'm led to believe NXWM order 10% more than they need for spares

They did originally as 50 new E200MMC's replaced 48 existing Volvo/Scania single deckers. You're forgetting the 72 has recently increased when the 70 was curtailed

And the PVR figures quoted are not accurate either

Just saw 4698 on the 72E, do YW run any boards on the 72?

Looks that way, since the timetable changes in November

I don't think it's an actual 72 running board. It seems to be one journey they run, so maybe it comes off something else, possibly the 885? As they run one of the three buses on the 885.

Is the YW journey on the 885 in the morning or, afternoon @MW
I saw the 16:10 from Acocks Green recently and it was 4636 so, not that one

Must be the afternoon, as the other morning I was out early and there were two Geminis following each other both on the 885.

I've seen it a couple times in the afternoon. Seems to be one Plaxton, one Gemini and one Trident usually.
