@2900

They do look smart - hoping it won't be long till some Scanias get into Crimson - sure the ones leaving AG will soon and YW's.

MW

1951 being prepped for departure at AG earlier. Given the fleet number, I'd expect WB.

Also looks like the MMCs are delayed to go on the roadfor a few days.

Liberator9

It'll be interesting where the likes of 1932-1942 go - whether they'll all go WB, or perhaps WA or YW. Sounds annoying - not more issues I hope.

I wouldn't think Yardley Wood will get anymore. Walsall and West Brom seem the likely places, as they both have older single deckers that need replacing

I could see some B7RLEs going to Coventry to replace some of their O405Ns, as well as Pensnett

Liberator9

That's true - yeah certainly could see some of the B7RLEs going to CV - some interesting transfers lie ahead by the looks of it

Cant see the new buses in service this week, they have to go back as the kingpins need to be tightened on all 6 of them.

Liberator9

Please don't tell me they have go back to Scarborough for that.... going to be Christmas by the time they enter service...

Presumably someone from Alexander Dennis could do that in the garage, unless specialist equipment is needed

I'd have thought that - Kingpins if I remember right are part of the suspension/tyres - hopefully ADL can just send someone down.

It is the main pivot in the steering mechanism.

It sounds rather serious, especially when they have travelled a long way to get to AG!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

These E200MMC's are not destined to be used in service at the moment which I guess is causing a lot of problems with the bus transfers that will need to happen to help with the withdrawal of the last of the B6's, B10L's and the merc's too. Still looking forward to seeing them on the 71/72 when ADL eventually get the bus problems sorted

It is causing a couple of annoyances more than problems, as I have put on another thread there is actually no rush to get the remaining  hit list vehicles off the road at the moment.
