Having seen a photo of 2201, they do look very smart in the single deck variation of the new livery. Despite being an E200, I hope they seem substantial like other heavy duty single deckers, and not just an elongated midi bus.

It doesn't look symmetrical at the front though unless thats just me. Long as there's some umph/noise from under the bonnet then all is well.

AG 2106 on 1 - unusual for a weekday?

@N94, the 1 gets anything during the week, usually Presidents, but single-decks more likely to appear for the peak-time extra workings.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I think it looks awesome, it would suit the b7s aswell with that strip of black above the windows,

@Stu thanks, it was about half one when I saw it. Normally when I see the 1, its a President 99% of the time, and a Gemini if not (but then thats only if I happen to be going up Broad Street at the right time). I only posted as the list didn't mention daytimes.

I guess it seems fine - LWB looks much more better then the, what I assume was, SWB at the NEC... Although, the assymetric front is still settling with me, this is one hell of a versatile livery!

Oh my... Why have they modernised design:

How revolting. The only positive is the livery offsets the ugliness slightly.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Is it me, but what has this to do with Acocks Green Garage?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Trident 4609

@Stuharris 6360 I think LS is referring to the design of the new E200 MMC, that of which is a descendant of the Dart.
