That would have been my second guess! I don't suppose your source knows when they will be coming?

Probably late april into may and then the platinum routes

I hope it's not any time soon.

But they wouldn't announce it if the deliveries are far away.
I know but maybe I should not say. Tony probably knows anyway

Would have liked Acocks Green to be Dennis free but oh well....

And 2226-2245 are numbers I associate with Acocks Green
Me too - good buses. Now all we need to know is the number series for the Platinums.

Very few Volvo B9TL/AD E400s in the UK, 3 at London General, 5 at East Yorkshire and 1 was built and appeared in Arriva livery (SN56AWY) but no idea where that is, certainly not with any Arriva operator.  Dublin Bus have lots of B9/AD E400s, and I think some were built for Hong Kong.  Go South Coast have a B7TL with a E400 body which I think was a demonstrator.

@Cheese SN56 AWX was one that's still around. Bluestar seem to have it.

4666 had been involved in a front end collision with a car in cotteridge about 1915 today.
It will require some bumper and skirt repairs.it was on an 11 heading to bournville

Curious.
I know it's been confirmed on here that there will be new single decks for 37/71/72 routes... But, just saw a flyer plastered on a bus stop in Sutton town centre about the Lode Lane improvements, and it has an image of a Platinum E400 MMC displaying 957 (which is fair enough, that much we knew was going to happen) and a Crimson E400 MMC displaying "71 - Sutton Coldfield"
NX not relaying correct information to the advertising team?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

I think NWM/Solihull council have just used the image from nxwms advertisement about the new buses, and just changed the route number/destination on the buses. It seems to be the same images as the one which was showing the buses in 126/X1 previously

Stevo

They'd better not try E400s on the 71, not unless they want open-top versions!

Stu

I wouldn't read too much into an edited stock marketing graphic image. It's definitely single-decks for the 71.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

4779 on 11c, must look incredible, wish I could have caught it, bet the person from Bearwood thinks he's getting an upgrade. Has anyone got a photo?

Any idea where 4779 is - as I do not want to spend all evening looking for a bus that is not out
