Lol all my old locals the 120, 88, 449 and the 126, defiantly no denying you could hear a metro miles away don't make them like they used to. Just out of interest. How long has the lynx been gone now. Fond memories of them running round the 120 and 88, also the 81Y when it used to serve Langley.

I think the last ones were withdrawn in 2009 at WA :)

Not yet, they don't need anything until 1st September when service levels increase again

If its true that West Brom will have some new Enviro400s by then, maybe a couple of Presidents or Geminis will be freed up to transfer?

2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

If the quotation of 53 new buses for WB this year was correct. That would be enough to withdraw all Mercs, B6s and Darts (if there are any Darts left)

Just wondering if there are any staff shortages at AG; today I made two trips on the 1 (both on 1932) and both times the drivers were both I see normally only ever driving the 37. The chap this morning seemed a bit unsure of the route to take from Five Ways to turn around as he stopped one of his off-duty Polish buddies to ask for directions before setting off, and spent ages trying to set the destination display correctly, and ended up leaving it showing 1E Five Ways!

The other chap who was driving me back on 1932 this evening, was 15 minutes late leaving Sheepcote Street, but must have become a bit more familiar with the route by this time, as he was only 10 minutes late when he got us to Acocks Green.

Could just be a bit of overtime. There is usually a bit more at this time of year with drivers off on their two weeks holidays. Pretty much the same for us at the moment.
