Streetlite demonstrator.
Same one that was at Pensnett a while back? Since NX ordered the additional 4 Streetdecks, I'm quite open to believe that they'd consider more Wrightbus products.

Also, @filbus1 - regarding your sighting of 4623 in Bearwood, it may have been on the 9 which BC operates in the morning. I did see a 14 branded bus on the 24 some time around 1030 and 1100; wonder if it's been the same bus?

No. That one is with Diamond in Redditch. This one is a smaller Wheel Forward model. 65 plate

May have been picking up the 9 but as it was on the High Street seemed a bit strange unless turning via Sandon Road etc.

So.. I guess I was wrong, and (possibly) wrong again! :P To be fair, didn't consider the SWB Streetlites, but my point about NX being open to Wrightbus products is still personally a valid reason, I guess..

As for the off branded bus, that does seem a bit strange. Never known one on the High Street; I'd thought you were on about the Hagley Road! :P

@Tony

Just curious about when 801 - 809 is going in for at least a quick tidy up?

Seen a few of them around and about today looking very battle hardend and bruise.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Maybe that's what the WF Streetlite is on demo for @ BC, i.e. they are more manoeuvrable without a front overhang of an E200

It's not on the 58/59. It's on the Works/school board that does the 957W, 59S, then a 59 that's always a Decker and has been mentioned on here several times
Thanks for the informtaion @Tony

Crimson BC 4449 - 45 - 19:40 Carrs Lane

I wouldn't say a Trident on 45/47 is noteworthy but a crimson one is worth a post in this thread.
Also it is mentioned as an other allocation on the spreadsheet.

More manoeuvrable? Are you sure?

Personally I would have thought less manoeuvrable. Not driven an Optare Solo or anything similar before tho.

That was one of the reasons quoted why Dundee had their 5 x WF Streetlites, i.e. due to the amount of parked cars along certain routes

Of course
Wheel forward increases the wheelbase so causing a larger turning circle
On the 636 it ll be mayham
