4613 (i think) made it onto the 900 today. Are all the E400's in service at BC now? First time i see a BC E400 and its on the 24

I believe it's now usual to see E400 on the 24 because it was operating since Monday and yesterday 24 operated 3 E400's

I've explained this once already.

Surplus E400's to go on 24. And remember its not always possible to allocate 100% E400 to 900 boards due to position of where vehicles are parked in the garage and service out times.

But any spare E400's will be on the 24. Its the done thing now.

It'll impress Mike Yarlwood as he's often annoyed with the sheer volume of 41's on the 24. However, I think its unfair as Harborne has had an incredible amount spent on that corridor as it is, let alone letting more new buses in on the act.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Just call me Nathan ;) All of your 4163-79 were once at WN used for the 559 (Now 59) same with 4316/8.

The 59 is in reality just a normal route that terminates at Ashmore Park

It certainly does impress me LS. Hybrids on the 22/23, new B7RLEs on the 29, new E200s on the 99, and now new E400s on the 24 - we've never had it so good. Mind you Harborne did have to put up with shit buses for years.

Mike Yarlwood - LOL, I like it  ;D

Indeed Nathan. Just a bit confusing with the way its timetable is structured.

I've given up trying to remember the history of the 41's, all I care about is the early 44's and 46's. BC royality after the later 43's got stolen by YW.

Haha, nice to hear from you again Mike! But it still would be nice to see a Spectra on the 22/23/103, for old time sake  ;)

Too right it would. I lived on the 50 route near Kings Heath when Spectras were the allocation, then they followed me to Harborne. Was gutted when they left for Wolverhampton.

And now have them on the 59 Monday-Saturday( They never ever leave the garage on Sundays) My favourite Spectras are 4001/2 and 4019 (Sounds alot like a Metrobus). The worst has to be 4003 (A driver at WN agrees with me) as it is very slow and is usually the one on the 59 that breaks down
