It looks very good. Surprised that it has had a repaint really though... With 4076 being withdrawn so many times / put in reserve, It probably has a much lower mileage. Good Job :)

Talk about unexpected, I never saw that happening!

As someone has just said on the Dundee forum, what's the point? it does look good but it'll be baked beans tins in 2 or 3 years!

Have a look at the picture below, it was in no fit state to come up looking like that

This should hopefully end the rumours that repaints stopped because people weren't happy with the livery which was not correct

It did look a bit rough Tony, but to be fair it didn't look any worse that some of our B10's did in the last few years of their service and they weren't treated to a fresh coat of paint, I'm not complaining mind, 4076 does look good, but it's going to stick out, I very much doubt that the other 25+ Presidents we have here now will get the same treatment given their life expectancy. (talking of rough looking, 7013 http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/5001-9959/7013.html)

I suspect a large proportion of both NXWM's & XD's Presidents will be withdrawn this year upon receipt of new vehicles & resulting cascades, no doubt 4076 will now be one of the last to go.

With 100 new buses due, NXWM has 66 Presidents remaining (excluding 4076) & XD has 27 (including 4076) = 93.

Surprising what a good paint job can do to a 17 year old bus. Makes it look almost like new, does make you think how good they would of looked like in crimson if it had rolled out earlier in its life. May it stay in service for awhile yet in this livery

Great April Fool! A few days early, though. ;)
