If anything though, it would most likely be standard E400MMC's unless  some of the latest Scottish Green Bus funding can be secured.

At the end of the day, all the scrap Presidents Dundee has received over the past 2 years are going to need to be replaced in the next year or so, either give us some decent cascades or cut us loose and let us do our own thing, ffs.

A couple of observations from Flickr yesterday:

2057 now in Xplore green:

2057 has also retained the black window surrounds which adds another variation to WM painted examples:

Much better. A couple of the earliest Eclipse 2s were delivered without the black window surrounds and looked terrible, fortunately the black was applied before they entered service. They look smartest with bonded glass.

NONE OF THE ECLIPSES THAT WERE SENT UP HAVE BLACK SURROUNDS ,2057 IS THE FIRST.MAINLY DUE TO THE THREE SHORT REAR WINDOWS .

@JIM C 2058 that was painted at Dundee depot doesn't have them either

I take it the new paint job on 2057 was done by an outside contractor?

JIM C

No both painted inhouse, i think the management seen the awful look of too much green and went for the black surruond.Iwill ask our painter if 2058 is being altered to match 2057.

@JIM C Oh right, expected it to have been done out. See if 1787 can be booked in to be treated next, it's letting the side down

From what i,ve seen it appears to be 2056 next . the DDs are being done in the same fashion ie lowest number first ,7004 is back on site today .all retrimed and painted .

I happened to notice the Gemini's are returning back in Hybrid Green/Yellow moquette (Well 7002 atleast). I would have thought they would have gained the new 'red dot' trim?
