I notice on Tony's recent photos of B7RLEs that Dundee has an Outer Circle 11 just like Birmingham's! Do the AG B7TLs, which were on the Birmingham 11, ever work it?

No, the 11 is allocated Volvo B7RLE Urban 2s

I don't think I've ever seen a President on the 11A or 11C variations of the route though

The Dundee outer circle is split up into four different services: 9 and 11 (clockwise) and 10 and 12 (anticlockwise)

I have seen a President on the 9, 10 and the 12.

It's the'test' bus not the training bus, It's used on schools in the peak, but during the day for driving tests

Engineering Manager just confirmed to me he doesn't intend using 7067 in passenger use again. 7171 is also now withdrawn.

7168 & 7175 are the next two expected withdrawals if anyone wants last rides on those two.

When are the expected replacements due? .

My guess would be when the batch of 50 new Enviro 200MMC's arrive in the WM and set the cascades into motion.

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Were you here to observe the NBFL's while they were in service with Strathtay to say they were a failure?

I wouldn't say the NBFL's failed on the 73 with Stagecoach Strathtay; they were taken out of their normal environment and placed in one completely different - which caused them not to work at the top of their capabilities.  That was fairly obvious from the outset however.

The NBFL's are more suited to sitting in queues of traffic and not moving at more than 20-25 mph, which is totally the opposite to what they were expected to do on the 73.  Also, the fact that all 3 doors are opened when they button is pushed in the cab, had a very severe effect.  We shall see how the Volvo BRLH/Alexander Dennis prove when they enter service in the next few days.

A lot of people turned up for the launch, the bouncy castle seemed popular too. The new hybrids seemed to be running on time, with a few running early.
