just picked up a cancellation of the Amazon services from 20th January.
can anyone confirm if 3 deckers have been lost due to this or they have been kept to replace older singles ?

They are all still needed on the 10/A/B,/19 and 334

I doubt many, if any of those services require deckers

Bob

The 334? Are you serious lol? Some 10s go onto school services but other than that a larger dart would cope surely? What about the 19 is that largely run by smaller buses now then? Ones that are suitable

Ashley

The 10/A/B do require deckers now the service to Pattingham has dropped from hourly to two hourly added to the fact all Arriva journeys run not far in front of NXWM's 10. The 19 we've debated many times. The 334 could just be Darts. The issue is theoretically a lack of availability of more adequate vehicle. If Wednesfield had a few Commanders (just an example). These would be sufficient for demand

I didn't mean they need them in terms of passenger usage, I'm just saying they are used on those routes so I can't see any leaving. 19's have double deckers in the day due to certain boards interworking with the 10/A/B

The 19 appears to have Solo's/darts in the morning/afternoon peak

Bob

Its a bit naff really whats happened with wednesfield,  arriva had a good chance to make there mark in the wm and they aint. Its just a continuation of midland. Theyve drafted in some really clapped out buses n put new seat covers on em, theyve not even tried to compete on any main corridors and most of the routes are dead. Theyve done some new routes like 310 but whod wana sit on a dart for like 90mins? Lol

Should really be Walsall-Bloxwich only

Wonder what it is about the 19 that it is always changing while the Nx 29 hasn't changed since it was introduced?

Don't know how long it has been back but 2111 has been repainted into Arriva Aquamarine/Refurbed with Arriva Moquette

I think that is quite a recent one Nathan. The only 2 Y-HKE Darts that I knew of in Arriva livery were 2112 and 2125

2111 was on the 214 earlier and it looked good refurbishment wise
