Depends what youd class as busy? A route that 3/4 or even fills a 29 seater bus I wouldnt class as a busy route?

Travelled on the 20 between Bearwood & Oldbury today.

Noticed whenever an oap touched there pass on the reader that a ticket was produced. When i got off i noticed it read "FREE TRAVEL RECEIPT".

Is this normal now?

Yes, Arriva issue a ticket when pass is placed over smart reader as normal practice.

It's just certain vehicles including the red ones that let the side down!
