4801 has been at Wednesfield for a few days now. On the 19 every day.

(I know I'm a few days late, but I assumed someone else had already posted it)

Are the loadings still crap?

Bob

Yea they put deckers on a bloody route that hardly anybody catches! Are they retarded?

Trident 4609

Well there were a few passengers and they do smart on the 19 (Especially 4801 which looks brand newly repainted). But unfortunatley doesn't require double deckers.

I think the route would be fine with some Arriva Livered MPD's which do appear from time to time.

Bob

Exactly. The S-JUA one looks terrible if u look closely with all the dented panels and sounds dead rough too. Nicely refurbed interior though. I hope cannock gets some of the W reg ones at some point

Wednesfield depot appear to have taken over the Sunday workings on route 142. 2226 W226SNR was on there along with a DAF/ALX400 double decker, I thought it was registered X449XGP but it must have been 4801 X439XGP

Forgot to say 2226 has also been refurbished/repainted and looks smart

That happened quite a bit ago. A DAF ALX400 on any other route other than the 19 and that school service they operate. So you spotted an ultra rare working ;)

Is this likely to be interworked with the 8a?

I don't see why it should be - both the 8A and 70 work as around a 50 minute round-trip, with approx. 5 mins layover at either end. By joining the two you wouldn't save on PVR.

Ta, I knew it was 449 that I saw but had to check Tony's fleet list for the fleet number, it seems Tony has a typo on 4801
