I know it's been said the route cannot be altered for a year, but could Staffs CC 'ask' NX to divert the 54 in the evenings to cover Brewood, or is it more complicated than that?

(I know near me, Centro did get Arriva to divert the 2's to cover Midland Wednesfield 5 which had been introduced at the North Walsall Review & withdrawn subsquently!)

Does that mean NX will divert the 54 via Brewood to cover withdrawn 76A journeys, else that will leave Brewood without an evening service at least?

Those changes are interesting,  especially with the evening 70s going too, that route has run for years and years!  Maybe itll improve the 154 loadings,  eg for people who go earlier and return later.  As ypu wouldnt want to pay twice with monthly tickets etc

The Wolverhampton City Centre change i presume is leaving the bus station via Ring Rd and Broad St (As per NX's 10)? 

How many extra evening trips are there? I was wondering if extra trips would run at night considering the last Arriva 10 is 20:50 out of Wolverhampton.

Seems sensible to interwork the 23 with something i'd often thought before that interworking would save cost on reliefs (travel time, shunt car etc), originally i'd thought linking it with 19 would be the obvious choice, but 326 will be as good and it can be worked with the Bilston area crews.

Not seen any 229's for a while as not been around that area but I know they were doing reasonably well in the daytime (was a suggestion they might see more SB120s - don't know if this has happened) so more peak frequency seems sensible, there must be a few buses available at that time of the day as there are some buses that only work on off peak contracts.
