It seems to me as if Kidderminster and Redditch are run very closely together compared to Long Acre and Tividale who seem a lot more separate if that makes sense. There constantly seem to be loans from Redditch to Kidderminster and vice-versa

KR & RH were always run closely even under First. It wouldn't be uncommon to see RH allocated buses (Lances & E300's) operating KR routes. I think KR used to undertake maintenance work for RH.

Yes that's true. I think Kidderminster could do MOTs and Redditch couldn't. ICBW

Theoretically then that could mean that the lease on the former Red Diamond  depot in Redditch doesn't necessarily have to be renewed as all maintenance work could be done at Kidderminster as isn't that mostly what Church Lane does as the other Redditch depot doesn't have the space? Or are certain services run from there?

Not sure how heavily Church Road is still used now. As i understand it Plymouth Road is where the buses are allocated parked whilst Church Road is used for maintenance only. I'm not sure if buses fit for service are also parked in there overnite? I'm not sure it would be viable/practical to maintain RH's fleet from KR as its a 40 mile round trip between the two depots and then you would have to pay for buses to be towed from areas of RH to KR etc. KR maybe able to undertake the bigger jobs etc

I'd have thought one out of town site in Redditch that can house all functions and provide sufficient parking space for future potential expansion would be the better option. Then exit the lease on Church Road & sell the Plymouth Road site

20511 on the 002 today

Tividale send full size buses on loan to KR, then have to put an MPD on the 002  ::)

Was it busy when you saw it? Whenever I see MPD's on the 002 they get jam packed. I have seen Centro's get jam packed on occasions so I bet that will be an uncomftable journey for peak time passengers

It was heading towards the Castle when I saw it, so was busy but not uncomfortably so.

I'm sure 20906 was on the 282 earlier...so Diamond have rejigged the duties?

Do the passenger numbers warrant a Centro or B7RLE on the 205? I wouldn't imagine so.
