Anything will go on the 82 whilst there's a Citaro down.

30806 (WX58 FRV) was on the 1 in Kidderminster today usually it's MPD's that are used on it

More an unusual sighting than an unusual working.  Passing a deserted Long Acre yesterday on the train, there was a lone d/d outside the workshops.  I got a partial registration and from that I think it might have been 40412 - YV03 PZJ.  The livery looked like the green / white / blue of Preston Bus, but I don't recall it was signwritten for Preston Bus ..... can anyone confirm the identity and what it was doing there?

More than likely the ID is correct, those buses are currently being prepared for service. That one has probably returned from the painters prior to moving north. They are due at Atherton for the Trafford Centre services

Many thanks for that info, Winston!  8)

There is one there this morning in full PrestonBus livery but with Diamond fleetnames on.

Only long term scrap left in the corner is 30218
