Had the sister in law round today ...usual drivel with my Mrs over the dinner table.....
 she asked my Mrs if she has any hygiene issues with our 8 yr old Yorkie  sharing the
 bed with us every night??...My Mrs said " You get used to the stray hairs, Bad breath
 Body odor and stinking farts...       but Iv'e had to put up with it for 37 years ..!
 its never bothered the dog.....    Cheeky git.. .Needless to say I gave my repost!,
I told her my Mrs realy knows how to brighten up a room!..usually by moving away
 from the window!!!.. . Her Atkins diet starts on Tuesday...ha

A friend of mine got hit by a bus and spent 3 weeks in hospital in a neck brace...
 My hospital radio music choice...♫ Looking back...♫ over my shoulder ♫..  maybe wasn't the best choice.....

When a friend of mine managed to get a spiderman figure wedged up his arse he claimed it was an accident..Yeah..as IF... as he lay in his hospital bed waiting for surgery I arranged for a music track for him on the hospital radio..♫... Gotta search for the ♫ Hero insida me♫♫

   Not sure about some of these guys on strike... As I said to a guy on the picket line.last Tuesday...   " I see the Daffodils are out..... " Is that official or unofficial? he replied... ... .

   OK ARE drivers from other depots planning  disruption???

E099, E115, E122, E125, E129 & E130 have all gone to Coventry today to go into service. E099 went yesterday and is out on the 11/12X today for the first time.

Tony can you tell me why EO 58 is still not tracking beyond Dec last year???

Is the other car park blocked by them also?

Maybe the management should block the car park exit ! 
  do any other WM depots have plans to disrupt everyone ?     

 Interesting  I wasn't aware of that Mark.... As I mentioned the ticket I was issued with
 last year, With senior R/card  @£25.05 included the all zones LUL permit (at least after 09.30 am) for the entire day so I cant see any reason why that option can't continue???  

 Some time ago In a conversation with an american guy He asked me 
 why Avanti Rail had issues with profitability ? In an effort to explain
 I told him that due to the extensive network of HS 2 Engineering work
 the UK HSE ( health and safety) has issued a directive that ALL trains
 were to be fronted by a Guy on foot with a red lamp. To avoid fatigue
 the Guy is replaced by another guy from the train every mile. 
 Unfortunately on a service to Glasgow the 400 guys required would
 occupy the train and leave no room for passengers   and subsequent
  loss of profits...   Never saw him again.....

 On my visit to Northern Ireland I asked the meaning of their Single yellow line in the   street? " That's No parking at all ".. the officer replied.....   .. What about
 the Double Yellow line? I asked... Arh! he said. "Thats No Parhkin ATall Atall...

I had actually booked this Rtn option last year 2022, the Fare included an "all zones" LUL  freedom option which was (surprisingly) printed on the same ticket (inc Snr railcard) Which I thought was more than reasonable as the zones 1-6 card alone would have been £9.60 never mind the rtn rail fare!  If I can 'nail' the same fare option again in the next few months I  wouldn't hesitate to jump on it...

Can anyone tell me how long these new Coventry Electric vehicles are generally held at BC before being passed to Coventry ?   and do they need any further tests before entering service?

 As a senior railcard holder I generally save about £50-60 per year on rail fares
 After the inevitable 7 week wait to retrieve my booked (advance) fare last July due to
 strike action I have been reluctant to book Fares in advance.. Interestingly, Avanti have 
 been E mailing 'Club' invitations to their registered patrons and recently offered me a 10%
 discount off my next rail fare... unfortunately their small print does NOT include
 any national discount cards!!...Why should I consider a 10% discount at the 
 expense of a 1/3rd railcard allowance  and lose 20%??   All their mail shots are 'No reply @...........
