I'm looking to go from Snow Hill to Tamworth Railway Station on Arriva's 110 on Sunday in order to get to an enthusiast event. However, I have never been on this route before and was wondering if nBus tickets are accepted? If not, how much is the fare from Snow Hill to Tamworth? Would I be better off getting a return/day ticket?
An nBus ticket wouldn't be valid as far as Tamworth only to the West Midlands County boundary.
I had to ring the Arriva hotline last week on 0844 800 44 11 for some Cannock fares and found them very helpful, so I would give 'em a call!
What event is happening and where in Tamworth? Sounds interesting to attend to
Heartlands
Just out of interest do many people actually use their X73 service?

Anybody travelled on the 110 in the past?

WHen it came into BHAM other day about half full
I believe the 110 fare to TW is around £3.70 the last time I remember
or I think it is like £6 for the Midlands Day Saver
Do you know the under-18/16 fare?

I use it every now and again in the evening and there's generally around 20 people on it...

Outside the Square Peg.
Thanks for your help everyone!
It doesn't stop near the station anymore, your best option is to get off at Victoria road and walk, do you know Tamworth at all?
Where in Tamworth is the event?

Not entirely sure where they went as by the time I got to the station they'd already left, but I don't believe they went very far as - although I didn't know this at the time - they kept returning back to the company's garage for a bus change. I didn't know (and still don't know) where the garage is so I stayed at the station for hours on the assumption they'd return at some point. I saw that Volvo Oly and the Metrobus and I believe a couple of Leyland Oly's too but I was too far away when I saw the Metro and on the 110 when I saw the others.
Judging by some of the photos I've seen, I think it just stayed local around Tamworth, you can photo most Heartlands/Invincible/Tamworth Coach and bus/Whichever licence they're using this week by heading to the Lichfield Rd Industrial estate...
Is that where their garage is?
