Trams were noted loading at the arrival platform at Grand Central yesterday - it has been suggested this is to avoid confliction with passengers heading from New Street to the station. Has this been pre-planned as I suspect the normal turn round would mean inbound cars waiting the previous one to leave?

Last Saturday they were running on to the end and crossing back as usual. When they used the crossover at the Grand Central stop an inbound tram had to wait at the Corporation Street stop till the one at Grand Central came into Corporation St.
Crossover now in use UFN due to extension works. With the spakling efficiency that has carried over from the previous management poster have been designed, printed and posted on the outbound platform but the obelisk in the inbound platform still directs passengers there.
