Quote from: suavegarv on March 16, 2024, 06:24:03 PMThere is a bus lane camera on the approach to Asda Island, but I've seen minibuses going through as well.Minibuses can use bus lanes
Quote from: frostjay974 on March 13, 2024, 08:14:49 PMBy that logic, wouldn't the sensible decision be to just repaint the bus instead of frequently applying a new vinyl to it every few months especially for buses like 4801 which I imagine that the only reason it gets vinyls is because most of the paint has been stripped off it. It would save money given that they cost around the same and repaints last way longerAn all over wrap is quicker to apply than a full respray.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on March 02, 2024, 03:32:29 PMDoes anyone If Coastliner actually operate anything, I think they did or do the Rodbaston (South Staffordshire) College routes. Occasionally on a Tuesday or a Thursday at about half six I used to see there Commander and sometimes there Solo either passing the 79 I was on in Bilston or parked up at the bus stop outside Aldi Moxley in the Wolverhampton direction. I think I have only ever seen the Commander with Passengers/Kids onThey operate a lot of rail replacement work
Quote from: TheMidlandsTrident on February 28, 2024, 04:47:31 PMI figured i would make a new topic as i couldnt find anything similar. Please add to another if there is one though.30852 - doubt it would be on the road with broken air suspension, if its doing this whilst idling it's could be the bus just dumping excess air and sucking air, old volvos tend to do this when idling.
I even consider myself nitpicking here but still.
Redditch
30165 - Broken Retarder (insanely loud, if you know you know)
30167 - Back seats are fully ripped, and revs semi weirdly
30169 - Gearbox takes a long time to change gears, bus redlines for at least 20 seconds.
30503 - Last time i rode it, it was constantly beeping.
30507 - Back of the bus is warm, very much overheating.
30508 - ^^
30828 - Has a blown exhaust, credit were credits due sounds insane.
30852 - Air suspension is broken, constantly goes up and down when idling.
32212 - (bar 32218) 32219 Gearbox is utter rubbish
32219 - No light coverings, and last time i was on it it broke down. Gearbox is utter rubbish.
40625 + 40626 Insane over revving at idle, heard many passengers say god this bus is loud or similar.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on February 26, 2024, 01:03:37 PMOh I didn't know the Public could help my badIt's preferred to have a trained banksman but as long as the driver has no objections there is nothing to stop them asking a member of the public for help
Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on February 26, 2024, 10:28:17 AMThat's also a dangerous peice of driving, He can't reverse in the middle of Traffic, and NX Drivers need Banksman not members of the Public to reverse. Banksman have nessceary training the public don'tThat's not exactly a dangerous piece of driving, you literally reverse on your PSV test, it's never an ideal situation to reverse in service, however by getting someone (even if its a member of the public) to watch your back can help reduce that risk.

Quote from: Wba_lad on February 13, 2024, 07:02:01 PMI'm not exaggerating, I seen it with my own eyes somthing was hanging onto the road or bus station layover bays, and the bus was sitting very low.Air bag faulty?
