Former Leicester 32644 (KP54 AZG) has officially been preserved by the Midlands Bus Preservation Group, which is amazing news, so glad one of the KP54's have been saved. 

4750 is showing on bustimes.org, tracking currently on route 48 (departure from Leicester at 1135). It has not tracked for a couple of days but if it was just a minor 'bump' that would make sense.

Alternatively, the ticket machine may have been transferred into a different vehicle without the vehicle number being changed - so, has anyone viewed any of these journeys to be able to confirm which bus is actually working them?

Arriva's Network Manager posted this image of Electroliner 8000 in the depot earlier today.

63522/3/4 according to Bustimes have not been used for over a month, anyone know why ?

63522 was involved in an RTC on its first day in service.

Unsure as to why 63523/24 haven't been used. 

Thursday 6th July.. the first day since Centrebus took over 22 that all 4 vehicles are double deckers. Hopefully more days like this to come.
912 back out after a while off road.

912 was replaced by 783 at 15:30, so it probably broke down again.
I had 913 home earlier and it was pretty much full, so it's very clear that the route still needs doubles.

69303 has left for First West of England.

Can anyone confirm whether 69380 has also gone?

Further update:
routes 15, 25, 26 & 74 have now also been operated by electric.
This just leaves 13, (13W!), 14 & 14A to not have yet had an electric vehicle.

13W probably won't until the DD's arrive due to it becoming first 54 of the day. But surprised they haven't at least tried on the 14/A yet. Maybe this is an indication that they'll leave this route DD?
13 I guess requires them to programme the bus gate at Optimus Point? So probably take longer to do. I know when the E400's first arrived the driver had to call using the intercom at the bus gate for it to be opened! (Since been programmed however).

Don't think any have gone on the 18 yet have they?

Probably, the driver that was talking about it doesn't know how bad the damage is, but Uppingham Fire and Rescue posted a picture of them responding to it and it doesn't look unrepairable to me:

783 caught fire in Uppingham last night having worked a 747 from Leicester. 

First have done this for a fair few years, for, if I am not mistaken, those that can't walk properly so they can still be a part of the procession, but not have to walk it.

Went on the 22 today as I was in Evington in the morning. 909 is a nice bus. Smooth ride much better than a Streetdeck that's for sure.
Seems like Centrebus have sorted out timing issues as the route seemed to be running on time. (And the bus now waiting time at the first stop on Downing Drive and not all the way down!).
Looking forward to the new vehicles when they come will have to give them a try that's for sure.

Disagree completely. Had 909 and 910 this week and they have horribly hard seats, not to mention the fact they sound like they're about about to fall apart. They also clearly haven't properly been cleaned in ages as the amount of dust coming off the seats is disgusting
580 and (especially) 729 are exactly the same. I've never sat on a bus with seats as uncomfortable as 729 had.

Centrebus have also not improved timings as they completely skipped the 06:24 yesterday morning and both the 06:34 and 06:44 were late. I also missed a bus in the afternoon because the driver clearly didn't know what a timetable was and left Charles Street early.

The change of the start to the route to the Ingarsby Drive stop is frankly idiotic. What is the point in having the proper off-road stop outside City of Leicester if buses are going to sit blocking the road for up to 10 minutes with their engines on.

Their drivers are also really unprofessional. I've had drivers failing to give way to other vehicles, being unnecessarily rude to passengers, using their phone while the engines on and driving on the wrong side of the road after taking a corner when the correct side of the road was completely clear.

While I accept that First wasn't perfect in any way, their buses were significantly better than Centrebus's and their drivers a lot more professional. The 22 has gone from a great route to a terrible one.

Everything I've listed here has happened after just a week of them operating the service. I can't imagine what else will happen over the next months of me using the route everyday.

The Wrightbus Electroliner demonstrator pulled into the Abbey Lane depot at around 16:15 this afternoon, displaying 36 to Leeds on the front rather oddly.

There is also a Sheffield Streetdeck in the depot, but unsure of which.

As a daily user of the 22, the route is still extremely busy during the morning and afternoon/evening peak. It'll definitely cope during the day, but it 100% needs double deckers, especially on the buses at around 7/8 in the morning and all of them after 3pm. 

Agree with the comments made about the 16, ridiculous route extension and would've made far more sense to change the 15 instead. The council are making too many changes at once with these upcoming changes, and are not thinking about whether or not these "improvements" are actually improvements. 

35173 also has lost it's branding for the 22, and replaced with ToTo branding instead.

2nd day in a row that a 22 branded double decker has been on the peak 13 morning running today.
A sign of the future perhaps? Maybe they'll be rebranded?

On another note.. timetables are now on the website under forthcoming.. interesting there's not that much changed with the times.. just bus stop movements. Plus of course the split up 54/15 and removal of 22.

I guess they'll explain changes in a few days.

None of the Streetdecks on the 22 today are branded for the 22, quite oddly, with 35173 on the 13 and 35174 on the 14. 

Would be surprised if both of them have already been debranded overnight to be honest.
