Does this affect any Services between Thornmill Road and Canterbury Road The X51 runs past the scene on the main A34 but not sure about the 51 and them services

No it doesn't as the Birchfield Road is open as usual.

2021 has just passed me on the Aldridge Road in Great Barr, can't see it on the latest list? Driven by an engineer.

what exactly do you want nx to do or try that they probably havent already done? its not like nx are doing this on purpose im sure they want they hydros on the road as much as you do but its just impossible rn, gouging info out of tony and anybody else working for nx isnt helpful

He didn't say anything about NX or was 'gouging' information out of anyone either. Read back what was said. 

It's seem like your the only one here with an issue. A whole point of the fourm is discuss topics of the threads. If there is a topic called 'Route branded buses, off route', People are going to discuss that. You can choose what you want to read on here, simply ignore it if you don't like it. But moaning about people discussing topics and branding them as 'inpatient' for simply asking a question is not fair.

I do indeed ignore that thread, just saying it's annoying when it's clear that it's all usual and more interesting things going on than whether a branded bus is off route!

Exactly, that's my point, there is no news, we all want to see the Hydrogens and Electrics in service but we're all going to have to wait !

Are we seriously going this road again, it's been documented on this forum many times about the Hydrogen situation, yes it's frustrating but not as frustrating as it is for NX. This will be sorted in time, we are all going to have to be patient

I agree, it's just as annoying as the constant moaning about single decks on the 4 or the spam of route branded buses off route!


Honestly would be nice if some people here had patience, i'm sure once they've rectified this issue (like all the others) they'll come back again.

E129 is not tracking on X1.

E036 has lost its E-ON overall ad, currently on the X1. 

Are Perry Barr type trained on volvos then?

They've had them on loan before a few years ago now.

Clearly type trained otherwise it wouldn't not be out in service!

I said that some west brom drivers on dead run go under sandwell and dudley heading from oldbury to west brom garage. There was one time however where i was waiting for a bus from the train station and the driver driving the platinum stopped in the middle of the road as he realised he went wrong way so i helped him reverse back and then he turned into the road and helped him back out again. i don't see how me saying west brom use this way on dead run is my not understanding. all i said is passengers aren't moaning about the current diversion shame it couldn't be made permant.

As @wbdriver has said it's been told by the management that any one going under the bridge will be disciplined and as you said you've seen them go under. I suggest you think before you speak before you land people in trouble with you serious allegations of you apparently seeing buses going under!

West Brom still take buses under there on way to garage I've seen it happen so many times.

They quite simply shouldn't be going under there, with them being exempt it's been said from NX.

What part you don't understand that these routes can't be Decker operated I don't understand.

The only exception of the Double Deckers outside of City is the 6 mostly 4566, E400, StreetDeck, E400 Trident and the 7 as that interworks with it and the 10 has Double Deckers but the last few days has used Omnilinks and B7's. But all Spare Double Deckers Should be used on the City Services. I do believe yesterday after 6761 had worked the 881 and the 34 it was put onto the 934. And Tony has already said all Bradford Place Services don't use Double Deckers as they come out of service under Bridgeman Street. The only exception being the School boards and evening 37

I know that as I just said all of them are near enough Singles! I don't know why you needed to post all that, a handful of Deckers don't make tonnes of difference.

Contrary to the point Walsall don't have enough doubles for their other services let alone the 4's.

You haven't thought this through have you:
Where would you get the double deckers from ? With single deckers already appearing on double decker routes in Birmingham, especially YW services 2 and 3, also frequently appearing on PB services 7, 33, 65, 67 and 907. Which routes would have to lose its double deckers to put on to the 4s ?

Exactly there's not enough Deckers let alone swap a whole allocation.

Near enough all of Walsall's 'non City' services are mainly single deckers so I'm not sure where these other Deckers are thought to come from? The 997 and X51?

I believe 4177 was also fitted with a different Engine to the Other Tridents

4177 was one of a few 41** Tridents to have the Euro 4 engine as well as 4586/4619/4633/4

6761 on 997.
