First / Re: First Bus - Potteries
From discussion yesterday it is definitely the case that more double deckers are used in school holidays

I was going to ask why you would use google in the first place but having looked at the WMR website that is not very helpful.
.
I would suggest use of realtimetrains.

In my experience it rarely has more than a couple of deckers - that said bustimes says five today.

No train  service to Perry Barr this week due engineering at Aston. Rugeley trains calling additionally at Hamstead and Bescot.
.
I am slightly surprised there has been no mention of the Birmingham-Lichfield/Tame Bridge rail replacement.

Thanks - a little surprised to see a decker lying over in Stafford Pitcher Bank at lunch time given it's school holidays.

Just stepped out of Stafford station to see KX14FJO pull away with 879 on the rear, but couldn't see any legals or fleetnumber.
.
Bustimes shows 42 SN16OSW.

A Red d/d seen at teatime n Stafford coming off the Newport Road - still had a yellow line on the skirt. I don't think any of Select's do?

BV70UAK was on a Stafford - Rugby rail replacement yesterday with two consecutive cancellations, one door defect and one due to the overtime ban.

The temporary one closed at 20.00 yesterday supposedly to allow the temporary one to be removed, although by 14.00 today you'd never know it had ever been there.
;
The temporary stop in Prince Albert Street has a very tidy timetable display for just  two days.

The two buses supplied to Mikro, Crewe both photographed yesterday - 4452 has lost its fleetnumber and has some paint damage where the fleetnames have been removed, but 4664 still carrying them but its fleetnames have come off cleanly.
Neither has a name yet.

730008+730009 according to part time spotter - or are you saying their are two turns?

No - Trent Valley line is blocked today.

It is in Real Time Trains but since I posted yesterday, has changed to CAN so either it was overlooked for next week, or perhaps it was intended/hoped to run it but in view of this past week's abysmal cancellation record they have thought better of it?

I was wondering if it might be this Monday as the 17.05 Euston-Blackpool (or its ECS moves from and to Oxley) isn't showing cancelled next week, but if it is it seems to be going to be a very low key launch.
(Until now It has been cancelled, well in advance, every day since it appeared in the timetable)
