Post by: Tony on April 24, 2023, 06:29:45 PM
The shuttle services NXWM run between Bristol & Glastonbury are going electric this year

National Express goes electric for Glastonbury - routeone (route-one.net) (https://www.route-one.net/coach/national-express-goes-electric-for-glastonbury/#:~:text=National%20Express%2C%20the%20official%20coach,than%20200%2C000%20attended%20in%202022.)

Charging will be done at Bath & West Showground. It will possibly be the 'Zenobe 8' that are the majority of the buses there

I hope these are new builds that won't have entered service yet. Disgrace if this takes electric buses from areas such as the high profile 'Electric Bus City' or high pollution areas like the Stratford Road and diesel buses are put in their place.

Will Chepstow Classic Bus be operating two Bristol VRs on feeder service as in previous years?

Normally more than two, it was about 8 last year along with some slightly newer Olympians

I believe (but not 100% sure) it's the buses that are all built to NX spec and in grey livery but not actually NXWM buses. Some operated with Greenbus earlier in the year.
