NX have won the tender for Sunday services which will see the X21 extended to Merry Hill REPLACING the Diamond 002 on that day only. The rest of the week Diamond will continue to run the 002 as now.

Quote from: 2206 on October 10, 2023, 10:43:50 PMLooks like X21 will run Adams Hill, Romsley Road then as 002.
Carmel Grove stop served by the X22 instead Which will run Jiggins Lane, Adams Hill, Wood Lane, Kitwell Lane, Balmoral Road, Scotlands Lane, Fields Lane. So passengers for the City will have to board on the other side of the road on that part of the X22.

This seems to be the case. Posters are now on bus stops.

(Please excuse the less than ideal photo quality, the rain didn't make it easy!)
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

MasterPlan

Just curious, are the Bartley Green changes to the X21 and X22 because of the tender award or would they have happened anyway?
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

See Gavin Williamson is lending his support to the campaign to 'save' the service!

Since the withdrawal of the 22 and X64, the Barley Green routing of the x21, x22 and 23 seems quite complicated.
