Every station has a code to identify it by - EUS for London Euston, WVH for Wolverhampton and so on.

What does XTH denote? The following is showing on Trainline departures:

London Paddington to XTH
Operated by Great Western Railway
14:01
London Paddington
On time
15:58
XTH

Stansted Airport Bus Stop. It's for the A6 bus service

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

There's quite a few oddities on the systems that aren't actually rail stations,
ARP is Alvechurch Red Lion Pub, used for Rail Replacements and shows on Realtime Trains (haven't checked other sites)
XPB is Bristol International Airport, used for connecting bus service A1 from Temple Meads

It's worth noting the XP series is otherwise used for various junctions and sidings, I assume it's just the order these POIs have been entered though that determines this

So does this carry passengers or run out of service?

Somewhere hidden on the GWR website there is, or used to be, details of through bookings to Stansted via the A6 bus.
