richard   i can not aggree  with you as  i do not know anything about what type of tenders  they are. and  i  would rather not  say what i have heard  or been told as i  can not   confirm  it is 100    %   true apart from  whats in  the post by d10

Some good news that may come out of this @Cedric perhaps more work for Yarnatons who must have thier eye on.the 296 along with all these unexpected tenders the operator of last resort will be Diamond Bus I cant think of anyone else to tender can you?

its possible but they didn't go for the 292 tender which would have been a good fit for them

I know that, nothing stopping them loaning some from Johnson's or hiring some in shorterm.

If they are local authority contracts @Solo1 the staff can be TUPED giving them the same legal rights with the new operator as the previous one if it is judged the local authority contracts are a legally acceptable transfer of undertaking.
