@Winston about 5 I think (MD31 - MD35)
I saw BV17GPU MD40 yesterday in Birmingham City Centre. I would have taken a picture but I was attempting to cross over to pay a visit to the Bull Ring at the time...

Also @Tony , 360, 363, 571, 861, 862, 863 & 864 all left the De Courcey fleet and 801 still hasn't returned since its fire, could you update your fleet list to show this?

Assume 801 is the M69 fire victim - I thought that would have gone for scrap?

I wonder if they're taking 14 to replace the 11 plate Levantes?

Seen a few MCV Evolutions at the front of Cov station on contract jobs recently. Have they replaced the Merc minibuses?

Work has begun at Rowley Drive depot, cutting down border trees and removing and piling up soil on the Rowley Road end, large portion fenced off. Some 'deckers parked in Rowley Drive and others are all lined up on the lower end of the depot,  looking a bit short of space in the depot on Saturday 1st April.

Tony

801 the fire victim isn't showing a change of ownership yet, so is still presumably a DeCourcey vehicle.

It was reregistered BN10 BHV last year though

Is that a 'paper exercise' and the bus is actually [or will be] written-off with the reg' plate being used on another vehicle? Or, it is being repaired, but will re-appear with a new registration at a later date?

Tony

Former London General gemini WVL9 is currently in DeCourcey's yard at Miller Street rebuilt to single door with later Gemini2 front.

It's not part of DeCourcey's fleet

The piles of soil gone and ground levelled off. Expect the building will start going up soon.

MD40 paid a visit to Wythall today (as did NXWM 6145)

JPC

New 60, 585 and 703 timetables now available here

60 and 703 will interwork Mon-Sat daytime with an advantage of an additional bus surprisingly, so plenty of slack time at terminals, I suppose needed as service is too often delayed in certain places.

574 on the X6 today looks nice and shiney today. Has it had a recent repaint?
