Also 595 has returned from its loan at BC, on the 428/9

524 has aswell seen it in West Bromwich Bus Station the other day couldn't get what route it was on ;)
60 Birmingham - Cranes Park
72/72A Solihull Station - Chelmsley Wood
73 Solihull - Heartlands Hospital
X1 Birmingham - Coventry
X2 Birmingham - Solihull Station
A10 Solihull - Cranes Park / Chelmsley Wood

Yeah, then after the metrobuses were used, the 448 used ALX400s. Ever since the 444 was changed to serve Smethwick Blue Gates; the 448 was revised to follow the 447 route from Bearwood to West Bromwich and the 448A introduced, it's been operated by mercs

I can remember when I lived back in the Langley / Londonderry area, all you'd ever see on the 448 and 449 were double-deck Metrobuses, which did get very full at times.

How many more ALX400s are going to transfer from PB to WB

Probably depends on how many Presidents are at WB. I have no idea on how many Presidents WB have left, but if it's quite a lot, I'd say the last few Geminis from AG will replace them all, and if that's not enough, it'll probably be a handful of ALX400s from PB.

WB currently have around 28 Presidents left, that will reduce obviously reduce if any others have since moved on following 4029 being transferred to AG. Is it around 12 Presidents that are required for the 451? That may still leave double figures that will need replacing with newer Min Euro 2 double deckers

B6s 638 & 640 from Walsall are now at BC - both on the 636 on Saturday.

President 4077 also appears to be transferred to AG

669 has moved to BC aswell seen on the 636 heading for Birmingham while I was travelling in the opposite direction on 665 to Halesowen and 640 was out on the 24 today :)

Im not suprised 524,595 have returned to WB and not just been withdrawn as recently the alx200 darts started sneaking on the 405/6 regulary and these services need a minimum of a b6le. There cant be that many b6le's remaining at West Brom and 624 sounds and looks horrific

There's still the clue of what's happening to the omnilinks, I heard someone say that some are going to BY, but what about the rest

1801-1817 are going to BY for the 17, and maybe some will go to Yardley Wood, to withdraw the rest of their B10L's on the 27, they still have 11, and maybe Perry Barr could do with some, because they still have around 20, and there will be 13 ex Dundee OmniLink's there when 7028-7033 enter service, there will still be some B10L's in service at Perry Barr.

Would love to see some at pensnett but doubt it will happen, well not while the mercs are still going.

I think they will go to either WB or YW, realistically I think WB to replace Mercs on the 89, I suppose an alternative would be to allocate the 89 to doubles so the scanias can move to YW, but saying that, YW will also replace scanias to replace the 27, interesting discussion, I suppose we'll find out when all the B7RLEs are in service

Your probably right with YW can't see them introducing a small number to west brom

I don't think any have moved yet because there are still quite a few knocking around on the X62, 1801 and 1916 being a couple. Remember that YW use to run the 57 reg omnilinks before they went to BC so I think that could well make YW the facourite to get 1788-1800. WB also use to have omnilnks as well though, the only other option is they stay at BC to replace the B6's on the 636 until the new midis aririve in October.

Ashley

Back to that point about 624. Most unrefurbished WB Mercs and B6LEs are in a pretty bad state. The Mercs solider on but most of the bad condition B6LEs have gone now, for example 593
