Title: Birmingham Busworks
Post by: Wba_lad on March 14, 2024, 09:53:26 PM
As there is no page for Birmingham Bus Works I thought I would add it. Anything to do with their purchases and vehicles can be put into the thread.

Their web site only lists one vehicle for sale, unless I've missed something

I'm not too sure I know their Facebook had some buses listed, they have a green enviro 200 which has been reduced. And there was a white enviro 400 which I believe was a geeen bus which was converted to single door and painted white. If you look on their Facebook you will see there vehicles on there.

The website still lists ex-NXC Geminis and ex-NXWM B7RLEs.

It's a Volvo B9TL with ADL E500 bodywork.

Isn't the E500 the three-axle variant?

Former Stagecoach Optare Solo, PX07HBL, has been filming for a new BBC3 television show.

The bus was destinated "11 Erdington". It was fitted with full studio cameras in the saloon for full interior and talking head shots.

The vehicle is currently for sale.

The two buses supplied to Mikro, Crewe both photographed yesterday - 4452 has lost its fleetnumber and has some paint damage where the fleetnames have been removed, but 4664 still carrying them but its fleetnames have come off cleanly.
Neither has a name yet.
