Don't 126 Dudley short journeys have '126 Dudley Only' programmed in?

Think 301's in Walsall display '301 Bloxwich Only' & I think 302's can too!

(They must have during the last snow diversions when they only ran to Bloxwich!)

Tony - Is there any reason why 'Via Leamore' can't be displayed on the displays next time there is an update?

Eg '301 Mossley via Leamore, 301 Mossley via Bloxwich' alternating', or is there a memory issue with the hardware?

Aren't the '[insert destination here] only' shorts exclusive to LED displays. The 126 uses tridents with dot matrix displays, so 'Dudley Only' wouldn't be an available option, I think, I've never seen it on a dot matrix anyway

A 126E! On a Sunday! From Birmingham. Showing 126E - Dudley via Roseville

Which is incorrect, as Rooseville is between Dudley and Wolves (as I'm sure you realised)

Yeah, I am thanks, Matt. They must not have Dudley shorts from Birmingham keyed in, which I'm not surprised at. They don't have Londonderry - West Bromwich shorts keyed in on the 46 (just displays West Bromwich via Sandwell Hospital etc.), I wonder why that certain journey was only running to Dudley, seems odd

Isn't it possible that this display was only deemed to be for services running out of Wolves? Which, i'm sure, would possibly make for a ridiculously short journey!  ::)

Yes it is meant for 126E jouneys out of Wolverhampton. Quite a few Peak Time Journey's terminate at Dudley from Wolves.

Also one thing is that 126E isn't programmed into Spectra 4019

There aren't any timetabled Birmingham - Dudley shorts, they don't really happen that often, if ever. It must've been really late

Yes I am definetley sure Matt :) I even got Matthew Jukes in the garage to check for me and he said it wasn't programmed in either. I did think it was rather odd

So can it literally only display "Birmingham 126" and "Wolverhampton 126"?

Trident 4609

Well I did put in a 126-Birmingham but when I tried to look through the variations I couldn't find a 126E so I asked Matthew Jukes and he then told me it musn't have been programmed in.

It baffled me because surely it would have needed to be programmed in so if it ever operated a 126E journey then it would need to display it?

Anyway back on topic, Saw a driver displaying 59E to Ashmore Park about Lunchtime on Sunday so driver accidently put wrong display up but saying that this does happen quite regually as it is quite easy for the driver to put in that variation.

Also in the past I have seen variations of the 126 to Five Ways andd also Bearwood also cropped up (Going towards Birmiingham from Wolverhampton these are)

Saw a 58E displaying Deritend - Adderly St I think. It turned around at the Olton Tavern, then right into Dovehouse Ln. So i Dont know weather it was turned there as well, which I doubt, or just simply missed the turning!

The 58 turns left into Dovehouse Lane when coming from Solihull so the driver missed the turn :)

That's skimping it a bit isn't it? Short to Adderley St to avoid running dead from city to depot? I presume that wasn't timetabled? I know morning 59/58 start from Adderley St straight from Depot basically.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

You've seen these on a Spectra, specifically 4019?...

Stuharris 6360

Surely all blinds at the garage are programmed from the same box, so therefore all buses should have the same destinations on them. Unless 4019 hasn't been updated in a while???
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

It was about half 5 so I dont think it would be returning to depot at that time?
