I usually expect 243/244 to be late nowadays. It's a surprise when it turns on time

He was complaining last week on the 6th as well, yet there were no delays that day, or any day last week

There's also road works on corngreaves road which have turned up on 243 route
Maybe we should be given the diamond bus magic wand@Dom

Its amazing isnt it. The NX 4H could be running late due to reasons out of the company's/drivers control (like why most services are late) but the diamond 4H never seems to be late.

Biased?

I admit whenever nx 4H is late diamond 4H is also late. However reliability of 4H is much higher than 244. I think there is definitely time tabling issues on 243/244 with no layover as such

Oh and both diamond and nx 4H were late today due to bus crash in west brom!!!

Well that is probably because they come from completely different locations, so they cannot be compared they cover the same route for all of 8 mins.

Each 243 and 244 is given 6 minutes in Dudley with 1 minute in Hayley Green due to the location of the timing point (terminus). In Merry Hill 243's are given 3 mins dropback. But as it has already been mentioned no matter what dropback time they have it doesn't make a difference if there is traffic or road works ect. NX (contrary to popular belief) do not have a magic wand to avoid it all.

I was on 129 today I was due for relief at 1010 but due to curry bonk being down to one lane I hit the traffic just after cradley train station I got to merry hill at 1031 I was due back on a 222 at 1044 but had to have a 30 min break because of how long I was on second half  which ment milage was lost on the 222 as I was sent to Dudley to start after my break so you see if a 243 is stuck it will have a knock on affect on the 244
Just of note a 002 was 45 min late coming in

Yesterday I saw quite a few NXWM 4E's to West Bromwich and Oldbury pass me. I suspect they were heavily delayed due to the collision.

Boarded 4814 earlier displaying "7E College Road Crossways" at 8:10 this morning on 7/07. Was waiting for it by Newtown Swimming Baths and 7/07 is usually 5-10 minutes late. It was 15 so they readjusted him.
