No it's not safe to assume, but the timing and name chosen seems a bit a coincidence.......

It also does line up with what I've heard on the grapevine...

Any views/comments are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.

My interpretation would be that rather than acquiring the company (ATG) as a whole, NX could be setting up a new company to take over certain contracts. Whether that would entail purchasing some assets (depots, vehicles etc) is another matter...
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I agree.

They may be purchasing the contracts & assets from the adminstration within a new limited company to start with a clean slate. Depending on what it includes, if it's the lot, both vehicles & depots will be needed.

Does anyone know which Solo/E200 ATG still have in their fleet?

Will NX be getting some those contracts that the Solo and E200 are currently used on.
I see them on the Washwood Heath Road and by Fox and Goose some afternoons driving around displaying "On Hire to Birmingham City Council".

I've noticed a Solo parked up empty here on the Washwood Heath Road on a few afternoons over the last week or 2 - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.4951406,-1.853622,3a,74y,343.66h,88.29t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s3N5Hv82HffrGfPh_-FNxDA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

With ATG finishing next week, I have put a closing fleetlist on the main site which shows which buses are still owned. This is a closing ATG fleetlist, not a new West Midlands Accessible Transport list

Does anyone know where the igo buses are now? Are they still at their respective depots or have they been sold off to other bus companies?

The ring & ride vehicles are now with N.E.A.T.  Some of the service buses have been sold.

Busboy105

Do you know who it was sold to?

The ex-Igo service buses

Many of them were leased so returned to their leasing companies. Some have since been leased out or purchased by other operators.
