While I was on Colmore Row with James this morning I noticed 4808 was on the 120 aswell so 2 E400's were out on the 120. :)

Any ideas what that Green Citroen was doing driving through the bus station?

Lol, what is it now? A £60 fine for that Picasso driver!

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I don't think Centro have TMA powers. And Dudley council don't do Regulation 10 PCNs

I can't see the 9 getting new buses for a couple of years yet, and I don't think it needs them - if they refurb the 48**s that haven't been done yet, they'll look new enough inside anyway. The Sutton Lines have only just replaced the 07/57 plates, which are two years older than PEs, and with the 48**s being the first E400s with the new grey interior, people probably won't notice the difference between these and a new vehicle, so I think they would be better off upgrading other routes where the buses wouldn't look identical, such as the 126.

Purely my own opinion though!

I completely agree, can't see the 9 being upgraded or PE getting any new deckers any time soon. Surely priority is WB, BC & AG

Would have thought AG's Outer Circle 11 is one candidate for an early upgrade. How many buses on there. I remember there was a large batch of Geminis in 2004 at PB and AG. Is the PVR still the same?

Agreed. The PVR was 44 a few years ago. Well about six years ago. I'd expect it to be pretty similar.

Some buses up the top yard seem to have disappeared  by the trees

Stuharris 6360

Popped to PE this afternnon, not much to report although there was activity in the car park, could see orange lights flashing in the midst of the reserve fleet.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

As Karl said, I wonder if they're having a clearout before any new buses start arriving

Could be, its about time they did have a bit of a clear out, what is the point in keeping the fire damaged buses up there just rusting away.

It may be they've had to retain them to sort out insurance payments etc. From June there's going to be another 100+ buses added to the reserve fleet, so may as well scrap anything that can't be sold on for further use
