I had 934/05 on the first journey today? How come it wasn't 934/01? Just curious ?

It's a mystery! Most WA routes are numbered in terms of the bus leaving depot (Other companies number them so 1 is followed by 2, which is followed by 3 etc.)
All other WA 934 boards are in such an order, with 935/05 mixed in the middle! I can only assume that maybe the first round trip was added in last minute/have swapped boards since introduction?

It could of ran dead to pick up service before 1/2/3/4 boards? Or something to do with the duties
It was the same thing for BC BR - Duty 4 - 63/04 started before duty 1 & 63/01!

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Sometimes buses do other routes before taking up route they belong to or a minor timetable revision to early journies that does not effect the main core of the timetable.

It sometimes happens when the boards are first drawn up, then Centro put a small tender out which is added on to the front of a later board after the initial plans

predictably enough... Now the X51 is supposed to have changed routes in the city centre back to the old route, all the ones I've caught so far have still gone up Newton St and stopped there... Not complaining cause that bus stop is more useful for me, lol
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

They sort of do.

Running boards X51/01 & X51/02 operate the 997/E in the morning peak, before switching on to the X51 for the remainder of the day.
Running board X51/04 operates the X51 all day, before switching to the 997/E in the evening peak.
Running board 997/03 operates the 997/E all day, before switching on to the X51 in the evening peak.
Running board 997/06 operates the X51 in the morning peak, before switching to the 997/E all day before operating the 1915 X51 back from Birmingham.
Running board 997/07 operates the X51 in the morning peak before switching to the 997/E

All route changes take place in Birmingham.

Of note, there are also two morning peak boards on the 934/5/6, that operate back into Walsall from Birmingham as X51s.

4735 on the 40/1 today. Saw it on the 15:17 40 from Wolverhampton

Trident 4609

There was an Omnilink on the 39 today which I never managed to catch the fleet number of in Wolverhampton Bus Station this afternoon about 16:20. Omnilinks are starting to appear more regually now particually on that board

1430 was again on WA69/03

4733 was on the 89 alongside 4126/3 and 4309. The 89 is usually only allocated 2 tridents.

Trident 4609

For once board W69/03 wasn't allocated 1430 today. I caught 1753 on that board today (15:25 departure from Wolverhampton). Either it was having work done in the garage or it spent a day on another route

lynx1103

Before 1430 was regully allocated to W69-03 this board most likely to be a B7RLE

1430 was on a peak time working of 77 today

Have the allocations changed again? 1430 was on its usual W69/03 board yesterday. Up till November/Early December this was usually a B7RLE anyway

1430 is back to its usual board W69/03 again. Saw it on the 15:25 69 from Wolverhampton
