Apparently there are changes to the 40 & 69 routes from 26th January. I'm unsure exactly what this will involve, meanwhile the 8/89 are due yet another timetable change, as are the 70/70A from the same date.

Wonder how many of the leaflets will be available by that date?

Has the latest version of the 69 / 70 / 70a / 89 appeared with the updated 89 from October (?) yet?

There was a notice in Walsall Travel Shop saying if you want a 89 timetable,  pick up the version on the 8/8a leaflet!

Surely if you have the timetables you can see what they were and when/where they ran?

I put that across wrong, looking at it now, I meant were there any routes similar to the 950/1/1A/2/58 Etc  :) as I only have the timetables for them routes and wondered if there were anymore like them?

Was there someone route learning on the 313 today, as the bus me & my sister caught yesterday morning around 930am from Walsall(& returned from Dudley roughly 1030am, as we got off just after Princes End!) had a Indian driver plus a white guy on there?

Perhaps. Yesterday, I was on 39 going to Walsall. There were 2 NX people - 1 was obviously a driver and the other was writing on paper and chatting to the driver. I was a bit annoyed that it took an hour getting to Walsall, when it should take 44 minutes. I didn't think of anything that the driver was new to the route. After reading Westy's comment, it made me think perhaps this driver was "learning" the route as well?

I see 581 has been withdrawn without ever turning a wheel at WA
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Why? 581 is the best B6 they have, it must have some SERIOUS mechanical issues  :o

probably NX have put a financial limit on the B6s for repairs, and it may have exceeded that, or maybe they could just do without it, great shame never the less.

Is that no to both as I suspect BN? It is not the best, and it has no serious mechanical issues?
