I saw 244 with a smashed up front end being towed through Kings Heath this morning on a Mansfield Lorry, heading southbound.

Think it's been off the road the majority of the time recently, it surely can't be worth the expense of repairing it again.

I can't see it happening either tbh, I personally think it's time running for nxwm is over but you never know I guess.

Wow. I saw 244 on WA39 last week. Didn't think it would be smashed a week later... I personally don't think it would be repaired but yeah, we'll see what happens with 244 soon.

We all thought the same about 547, I guess it will come down to who was at fault & who's insurance will be paying for the repairs

I didn't get chance to have a proper look as it was just a quick glance as it went past but the windscreen didn't look right and I could see some gaps at the bottom so either the panels were removed completely for whatever reason or that is all that was left of them! It looked to me as though it had hit a bollard or something as the stuff I saw was more in the middle, the edges looked alright but like I say I got a 5 second glance of it so wouldn't like to speculate for sure as to what happened.

is normal for B7's to come off the 7/7A onto Birmingham routes. Spotted 1784 in Alriidge on the 7A then when I went into town seen it on the X56 to the Pheasey

Unless there's something different during school holidays it isn't.

The X56 workings in the AM are a short from Pheasey, which then goes on to a 51 board & the full length route, which then operates a 997E to Pheasey before returning dead to depot.

The PM workings are undertaken by either a bus that previously operates the 727 school service before operating a short to Pheasey and then dead back to Birmingham to operate the full length, with the other journey being a bus off the 934/5/6.

All the buses on the 7/7A remain on those routes all day (with the exception of one board that goes on to operate the 6/10 of the evening). Perhaps there was only a double deck available at WA and so it was swapped with a single deck off the 7?

It must be a diversion, maybe Aldridge Road is blocked. The only way to get back on route is to use Queslett Road from Asda to the island with Kings Road, then down Kings Road to Shady Lane and use Shady Lane to get back to route on Oscott School Lane. It obviously is not a regular thing

It was heading down the circle, I the only possible way I can think to Walsall from there is the up the Kingstanding road on the 56 route to bring it to Foley Arms then normal line of route
