Some changes to running boards from tomorrow due to service changes, may potentially see some unusual workings.

Examples are:
1) X56-01, Dead to Boney Hay, 0645 X56 to Birmingham, 0806 997E to Pheasey, Dead to Depot
2) X51-08, Dead to KEHS, 886 to Walsall, then two round trips on the X51
3) 51-10, Dead to Foley Arms, 0640 X56 to Birmingham then on to the 51 all day (including some evening 934 journeys)
4) 335-01, 335 from start of service until the 1530 round trip, then on to the 301 from 1615 until end of service, including a few evening interworked 302 journeys. In theory, this could see the start of B6's on a daily basis on the 301 (and 302)
5) 336-01, this board now operates the 745 school service, then one journey on the 302 0854 ex Lower Farm, then on the 336, then on to the 335, then one round trip on the 6.
6) 701-01, operates the morning 701 service, then one round trip from Mossley (0905) on the 301. I'm unsure what vehicle will be operating this trip.
7) 705-04, operates the 0635 X51 ex Cannock, the 0750 short journey back to Scott Arms, then operates the 705 before operating the 0924 302 to Lower Farm. In theory this will probably be a Gem or Enviro.
8) 727-01, will operate the PM 727 journey, then an X56 short to Pheasey, then the full length X56.
9) 934-04, will operate all day out on the 934/5/6, before operating the 1825 X56 to Foley Arms.

I guess the 301/302 between 0830-0930 may be quite interesting to see.

Reading the timetable ive got for the 997, it indicates that the 08:06 journey is SCH (School term time only), so what will happen when there is a holiday and that journey doesn't operate ?

Think my sister will be interested to see if RB 705-04 will operate correctly tomorrow.
(That's the one where the X51 arrives in Bloxwich around 655 isn't it?)

The bus will run dead back to Walsall

The 08:06 997 is there solely to relieve overcrowding caused by the Great Barr School children on the following 997 journey so is not needed at other times

As far as I'm aware the only 2 Metro's that still see occasional use are 9951 and 9959, 9955 hasn't been used for years, but is still at Miller Street and had a little move a while back.

No idea on the Transits, but would imagine there still about, as far as trainers are concerned 9023 is the one I see most often knocking about, maybe up to 2-3 times a week

None of the Metros have been out for the last couple of months as they have been defective, one with a broken gearbox, but a spare gearbox has been found in stock, so they are both being worked on to return them back to their training roles soon. 9694 is completely rotton, hasn't been used for ages and next stop will be dog food tins. The other two minibuses are still in use for driver assessment

Rode 1786 on the X51 yesterday afternoon, left city centre just after 5pm. Nice thrashy driver, fast bus and no more than about 5 other passengers throughout the whole journey! Great ride.

Not many passengers on 1786  as 4684 left 2 minutes infront on a X51 .

Also a B7RLE was operating a X56 journey to Pheasey yesterday
