Driver on the X51 this afternoon told another passenger NX have got a service between walsall and cannock via cheslyn hay planned and itd be an extension of a 31 or 32 but he wasnt sure which....

How would that affect the 'joint' operation of that particular route with Diamond,  if that's the case?

Surely they would have to give it a separate number, say '33' for example?

(And if true, definitely no chance of return for Chaserider on that section!)

Has this occurred since? I've only seen (on Bustimes), 3303 and 3305 on schools (705) since then. The Streetdecks don't seem to be getting much usage.

3303 & 3305 both went out on the 7 last Saturday as well (1st may)

How much of an effect are the flyover/sprint roadworks having on X51? The journey time from Brum to Cannock is now ridiculous and made worse by the stupid idea to get rid of the flyover

Noted 3305 has been on the 7 today - 3303 not out? What about the other three - likely to re-enter service at any time soon? The 6, 7, 7A and 10 appear to have see large number of 'vintage' Tridents!!

Ended up on the 37/41 this evening, but was changed with a Scania at around 21:00 as the driver who was taking over wasn't type trained on the Streetdeck.

D&G are bringing back the 1 between Cannock and Walsall! I though there was an agreement between the two companies to not tread on each others toes 🤔

3303 and 3305 seem to be back to their normal haunts on the 7, 7A today after a day or so off. One was on the 29 yesterday PM.

However 3301 seemed be around in public yesterday PM, claiming to be on the 7 (which it has claimed today also) but seemed to be motionless in The Broadway fir a long period (is it stating service correctly or should it be dead?). Seems to have been on the 7 mid week though.
