Really, really sad news about @Isobel6725 - she was one of the brightst lights in NXWM and its sad she never got the chance to go to the National Bs Driver of the Year final.  Condolences and sympathy to her family, friends and all who knew her at Walsall garage.

Bloody cancer. :-(

Nope they stayed at every 10 mins. They ideally need to be every 7/8 mins.

They used to be 7/8mins when the E400s were first introduced to the routes

They were for as long as I can remember, right up before the E400's were introduced.

What a fitting way to see 6725 5 days after @Isobel6725's passing, I wonder if she saw 4817 when she was driving the X51s/997s

51s need frequency improving. Particularly between 6pm and 10pm leaving Birmingham. Oh so often extremely full. Standing on stairs and refusing buggy etc.
Since the 52 changed the 33 and 51 have seen no improvements to frequency.

I agree 51/33 was downgraded to 10 minutes each combined 5 minute frequency when the 52 was introduced in 2016 combining a 3 minute frequency. Now the 52 has disappeared no extra frequecy was introduced. What they need is EXTRA SHORT Journeys 33E to Perry Barr so instead of any PB buses running private from city back to garage between 6-10pm is run in service from Birmingham to Perry Barr as 33E after Perry Bsrr the buses are ussally half full.

Later X51s might help 51 out a bit fom 5 January

Its a shame theres no later X51s to Cannock, with the shambolic train service NX could be missing a trick!

Bob

The X51 coming into Cannock this morning ( the one that leaves at 7.15 ) had a really good load on it! I was surprised!

Or will the X51s Cannock extension have the same fate as the 154???

The 154 was funded by i54, once that funding ceased, it wasn't viable to continue running it commercially.

The X51 is a commercial extension.

Have they put the old TWM logo on the front and sides?

Are the Amazon services available for public use? A5 runs through Cannock wondered whether I could use it on a Sunday to get to Walsall.
