Just saw 4607 in Bradford Place on the 700 school service.

Would I be correct in thinking that this is the only regular double deck into BP?

The evening 37 is often a double decker.

All the 37S after 8pm are double deck

2 are 6 boards
1 is 7A board.

Bet there were plenty of seats after Walsall

Short of Deckers at WA a lot of 51 Branded off and platinums. WA still have 1935 1945 and 4959 on loan. Not sure about 4311 and 4340 they might of gone back.

With 4306 and 4365 returning to WA.

4595 4596 4606 4607 4608 4609 will probably spend most of there time on 51 and platinum routes.

Went on the 4M today (braved Merry Hill!) - neither were branded with next stop announcements and didn't see many pass by that were. Has that phased out now?

If you're talking about the announcements on the branded Omnilinks then yes they've slowly been phased out of the blue, well from the majority of the working ones. But the non-branded Omnilinks have never had announcements.

Not surprised they are long routes and frequent. Lots of Diamonds too. The 11/11A I have read will serve Merry Hill now from Walsall, looks about 10 mins faster on timetable. p.s. Merry Christmas for tomorrow everyone.

Interesting @Jack about the phasing out thats good to know  I can honestly say whenever I use the 4M I rarely see the stop announcement workings I just took this as typical of rubbish operations and third rate service of NXWM we suffer in Blackheath from those cowboys good to know it isnt for once but a policy decision.

I'm pretty sure there will be no difference in how long the 4M and the 11/11A will take, the 4M takes (1hr 21 mins, could be wrong) and the 11/11A will go along Baptist End and Netherton so an extra 20 mins, the take right under an hour to get to Dudley (with no traffic) and it would do the 81, so down Baptist End and through Netherton. So I'd say it they will take around the same time, but I can see the 11A being the fastest, as it currently is out of the 11/11A, and obviously the 4M via everywhere.

I haven't seen them work in ages, the ones that had them working just display 'National Express West Midlands', 1853 for example. But ones that have broken screens like 1862 and 1879 have worked since 2016.

Quite a few do the whole journey, I bet the driver is surprised you are still on it or forgot you was on it lol

I didn't find the 4M that long a route in honesty?

It was brutal first and second time I got it. Not so bad on Monday especially coming back. Tried an iGo bus a few years ago from Bilston or Wolverhampton cant remember which, not thinking it's iGo for a reason and it went down every side street in Dudley lol
