Which reminds me @Tony , is Elaine from the 11/13 Walsall to Dudley rota still in circulation?
Haven't seen her for ages, but I know she helps with the training anyway.

I think I know who is Elaine. She was on my 1861 on 4H not long ago, she was on a buddy driving duty.

I don't know who Elaine is however we have been having a couple of women drivers on the 4H. Does she have blonde/ white hair and wear glasses?

Now that Sandwell Travel's gone, a decent alternative to Thandi is needed.

There is. NXWM.

Unless you have have prior knowledge of the route/rota this driver is on and you know what she looks like, I would imagine finding her would be fairly tricky.

I remember I had a job interview at NX a few years back for Operations Supervisor @ BY and I was told, I'd be looking after over 100 drivers. If that's a rough estimate of how many drivers are based at BY (The smallest of the garages based on size, vehicles/ routes allocated & drivers), it's fair to say a garage like WA has well over a few hundred drivers.

Please don't do anything that could identify someone not on here to others.

They might not want complete strangers finding out their name.

I have deleted a couple of posts

Birmingham drivers under more stress due to busier services maybe?

But in all seriousness, every garage has its friendly and not friendly drivers. How do you define friendly?

This could be one theory why WA drivers seem more friendly. There is another possible theory.

Drivers at WB, WN, WA and to a certain extent PN mostly relief at central points ie bus stations where there are rest rooms, there is more opportunity for interaction between drivers and drivers getting to know each other which I think has a positive impact of general friendliness. You see drivers from different rotas in groups at the bus stations chatting etc.
Relief points for BC, AG, YW are much more spread out and the same opportunities don't exist. Certainly around B'ham City Centre there are more places for drivers to disperse to as individuals.

Just a theory!

@fleetline6477 I agree with your theory. I didn't know that some garages had different relief points.. like when you said they're spread out. As a Walsall driver we have relief in town or garage. Your theory makes me think now.. hmm  ::) :)

What about the 38, 94 and 96? The 54 is the same as the Perry Barr Routes.

Is it really in Birmingham City Centre? That doesn't make any sense to me. Why wouldn't it be Solihull? If Birmingham, surely it'd make more sense to send the route to BC in exchange for the 60?
