Driver of the X51 from Cannock the other morning said there's talk of SIX possible new routes potentially into Staffordshire!  Wonder if this'll come to anything

And whats the betting i54 will be involved in some way?

Anything is possible I guess, we never expected NXWM to bid for SCC tenders originally. As they already operate deep in to Staffordshire with the 54/154/854 routes and the smaller operators appear to be doing well competing against Arriva, there's always a chance NXWM might decide to expand their presence further in to Staffs

My money would be on a Cannock to Walsall route. Especially now Arriva have f#### up the 1

Yes, all are having them

Oh, is it because of the low fare zone?

Yeah it's in the garage. Seen the day before yesterday, or was it yesterday, I can't remember. 2234/5 getting fueled up. Presumably for the first time.

If you look at the map on the flyer, they have a funny definition of the Walsall area!

@Westy I think it goes to West Bromwich to compete against a company which has Urbans branded as "Value"

Do you remember the old Walsall area travelcard?

That included trips to Wednesbury Bus Station(Sandwell), the section of the 79 between Darlo & Wednesbury, in fact the whole Walsall borough, then Cannock & Hednesford later.

The Walsall western boundary as per the 529 is the Portobello island, not Shepwell Green.
