Oh for the love.... Usual bus home for me turned out to be a plain E400 as well.... Wanna go on one now I've seen them
I know I could have waited for the next one but meh...Just a casual moan lol

Anyway, curious point, been talking to me mate (who is slowly turning into one of us  :D ) who commutes on the 997 so has caught a few already.
The green colour used for the "branding" (I use " " because it's more an advert, but there is apparently a route diagram of the 997 and X51 inside as well?).
Originally the X51 branding made it seem a part of the 51 route (similar colour, just italics for the lettering) and the 934/5/6 were equally similar to the 33, which all made a bit of sense and speaking to non geeky friends in the area they did pick up on this (talk of "the blue route" and "the green route"). Now though, already seems to me and my mate at least anyway to give the impression that the 997 and X51 are lumped in together and with the 934/5/6 routes (if their "branding" is gonna be a similar colour to the previous).
Almost making it seem a separate entity to the 51 (I know it kinda is, bit same route and all)
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Why do WA need loans when they've just had a load of Platinum's enter service / should have excess?

They seemed to have a few platinums down today, was a few enviros on x51/997 at the evening peak and a fair few b7rle and enviro's are going through paint maybe?

The Fox 4846

How many more seats does a standard Enviro 400 MMC have than a Platinum Enviro 400 MMC?
33 Asda Queslett via Perry Barr, Kingstanding, Pheasey
7 Sutton Coldfield via Witton, Perry Common, Boldmere

Liberator9

Platinums have 43 up, 30 down, whilst Standards have 47 up, 32 down.

WA now have up to 18 Platinum's in service, with only 6 x B7RLE in paint for Dundee (some of these may have been released by ex PB Omnilinks). No further 47-- DP E400's have entered the paintshop for NXC as yet. I currently have WA's allocation as 202 buses which includes 1774-7/82 & 84 & 4767 & 4774 which are currently under refurbishment for cascade, that still makes 194 and with summer timetables in place there should be plenty to cover the total pvr.

How many Platinums should Walsall have eventually?

2nd Cannock X51 not turned up at my stop by 703(timed at 657).

Had to race round to Bloxwich Road & luckily a 302 popped up!

(Has the X51 broken down?)

Both WN and WA run the V Festival services. WN mostly with their own vehicles (and some loaned) an WA run with a mixture of their own and loaned buses from other garages.

And as @John said drivers from all garages can put their names down to drive the shuttles.
