1446 is on the 10
1421; 1431 & 1475 on Darlastons
1440 not out

If anyone is looking for all of the B10Ls

1407 & 1440 will die in the next couple of weeks taking the fleet down to 6

Tony, I assume 1453 [expected last day 24/5] is now withdrawn?

Yes, it actually died about a week before. It is possible the last 6 will see it out to the end

When can we expect the end July when platinums arrive also any plans for more
B10L to join the Tranning fleet.

cant remember which b10l i boarded around 11am, but i have to say what a shame this particular beast is about to die. it should be sent to wrights/adl to show them how a bus should be. powerful, smooth, warm, very very few rattles - which given the Age and mileage you would expect. these put the e200 adls and newer wright bodies to shame. i know our roads to vehicles no favours, but if i was an operator, having spent as much on vehicle investment as nxwm, id be calling wrights and adl in and make them improve the build quality before i took anymore.

i think we will be lucky to see these latest additions last as long as these b10ls/b6's.

The B10Ls have been excellent - the B6s (well some of them) have been good as well. Wrights buses are still pretty good - the 12/13 reg Eclipse 2s NX have are very good though and are a reliable workhorse seemingly - remember Tony last year posting about how many had made it out in service with very few defects.

The 56 reg RLE's are superb.

Eclipse 2's I'm warming to but they do come with niggles.

The 56 regs are great - wish there were more of them! Really liked having them on the 37 - shame they all moved on to WA, and potentially now some going to Dundee.

@Liberator9

I wish NXWM had ordered more MK 1 B7RLE's. Enthusiasts from outside of WM have mentioned to me many times ours are much better than any other company with the type. That comparison is normally between NX and most First divisions.

@Ashley 60171

I've only been on a few outside of the west mids, mainly First, and they're right - NX's versions are the best by a mile - I just hope WA don't end up losing them as they're suited to the work at WA.

GeminiFan1991

Which routes do the B7RLE's find themselves on mostly ?! I intend to make a long journey over there just to ride the bus and I don't want it to be in vain !

@BusFan

They run on the 301/302 mainly - best off trying to get one on there. They sometimes pop up on the 4, 311, 313 as well. Sometimes on the 10 which is a good run if one is on there. 301/302 is best though as won't take long to get on one if you just hang around the bus station.

I love some of these quotes - suited to Walsall routes - they have to be kept of several running boards because they don't fit!

Another is B10Ls are solid buses, hmm the training fleet are trying to find a couple that are not rotton underneath so will last a few more years!

Which routes are those, as I'm sure I've seen them on most Walsall routes at one time or other?

Maybe the Darlaston corridor?
